It's not an obsession. It's an art.

Let me tell you something. I don't always splurge on makeup.

But when I do, it's usually for lipstick.

I'd like to think of myself as blessed for having naturally full lips; that way I don't have to rely on lip injections or lip liner to make my lips look bigger. Not that either one is necessarily a bad thing, it's just an additional monetary cost that I'm glad I can avoid.

However, I also consider my naturally full lips a curse, in some ways.

Because my lips are full, they take up a good portion of my face and because of that, I always feel the need to put something on them to, y'know, emphasize them. Otherwise I feel like they just look a little 'blah' bothers me.

And so...I got into lipstick.

And I assume that, if you're here, that you're interested in what I have to say (or you're my professor and you've been roped into grading this because, well, you have to.)

Either way, here's how it all started.
